THE LEGENDARY DJ DEREK
In a career spanning over 40 years, DJ Derek has become a globe-trotting reggae phenomenon, even influencing fellow Bristolians MASSIVE ATTACK along the way. Such has been his popularity on dancefloors the world over, he was able to quit his job as an accountant in the mid-seventies to earn his living in clubland ever since.

Though he should have retired years ago, his appearances at the likes of The Big Chill, Glastonbury and Bestival have added to Derek’s iconic status and the reggae grandaddy’s services are in demand more than ever. A resident at Skylarkin’ for more than seven years, it’s no underestimation to say that this man has given us some of the best nights of our lives. Expect an inimitable mix-up of reggae, ska, soul, rhythm & blues, dancehall and vintage jump-jive hepcat sleaze.

THE SIDEWALK DOCTORS
Back by popular demand, The Sidewalk Doctors play proper old-time Rocksteady, with nods to the greats of Treasure Isle and Studio One. Between them singer Nathan Thomas and guitarist Lenny Bignell have worked with The Skatalites, Toots and the Maytals, Prince Buster, U Roy and Frankie Paul, among many others. A love of vintage Jamaican music informs their sound, given their very own 21st century flavour.

COUNT SKYLARKIN
A rare weekend away from the festival fields for Count Skylarkin, who has already rocked parties at Secret Garden, Latitude, Cornbury, Fiesta In The Park, Winterwell, Sunrise and Vantastival this summer with a return to his Croatian stomping ground at Outlook Festival still to come. Reggae, jungle, dancehall and dubstep all feature.
