Skylarkin’ London resident DJ WRONGTOM is about to release a new album with none other than Roots Manuva; on the decks he’s a master of all trades and a jack of none. With The Count gallivanting round Wales in a mobile garden shed this weekend we’ve asked Wrongtom to assemble a Skylarkin’ line-up with favourites you’ll know and friends that you don’t know…yet.

Playing live:
ZION & THE WHITE BOYS
Without doubt our favourite discovery of last year, Z&TWB fuse vice-tight Caribbean rhythms with Bermudian frontman Zion Wilson’s soaring vocal talents, which bring to mind Jeff Buckley as much as Jah Cure and Richie Spice. Epic reggae soundscapes, but with their feet firmly on the dancefloor.

DAN TENOSHI
Mysterious rocksteady ninja banished from his native Shikoku, Japan to get crunk on moonshine and mash-ups in Cornwall.

MC DEEMAS J
Deemas was a fixture on the South London jungle circuit throughout the mid-nineties, resident at legendary clubnights such as Labyrinth and One Nation. Now living in New Zealand, this could well be his only UK appearance this year.

DJ WRONGTOM
Once upon a time the unofficial “fifth member of Hard-Fi”, our Tomothy’s come up in the world to work with Roots Manuva and Trojan Soundsystem and remix the likes of Tine Tempah, though he probably enjoyed visits to the Cash Machine more back then (sorry Tom).
